Eliminator 3000W Inverter

Judul:Eliminator 3000W Inverter
info:Another eliminator 3000W load test up to 2740W, i dont think the meter is right and that it is closer to 3000W. Inverter website link http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/SolarPortablePower/Inverters/PRD~0111846P/MotoMaster+3000W+Power+Outlet+and+Inverter.jsp?locale=en

Mike Hunter:Is good inverter for use where the 12 volt battery has a continuous charge. ie the engine is running. Not so good for running of of unassisted battery bank. A lot of power is lost in the conversion. Much better inverters for efficiency in converting the power but they are more pricey. I have this inverter for my Kenworth to run microwave. It is a short use of power usually with engine running. In my RV I have much better inverter for longer battery life.
z1power:I did a review/teardown of this unit as well. Didn't load test it but took it apart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPrxTGi5J-g
jason phan:Hi i like this. But can u send me pics of diagram, how u install this. To jason92phan@yahoo.ca. Thanks
ibrahim Fararjeh:Thank u
fliping720:i would use tow sets of 4 gage or thicker cables, one set on each side of the inverter to get the best results, but both sides are the same on this inverter doesn't matter
Eddy Silva:i have the same inverter where do you connect the battery from the car i mean what side of the terminal of the inverter the left or the rigth,i think one is for the car and the other one is for a deep cycle battery, can some one help me please, iam confuse with this one
fliping720:use Deep cycle batteries AGM or flooded, use 2 gage or thicker wire to each battery, 3 batteries i find work great, you get the full 3000W for a little bit at least . With just one battery i would use one set of 0 gage wire or 2 sets of 2 gage wire, O and keep the wires as short as possible so you lose less power in the wire do to resistance.
fliping720:Also keep your wires as short as possible to keep resistance down.
fliping720:No it does not have to, But one battery will only put out about 1500 watts max, this inverter will easily use 3 batteries, and to clarify unless you are running anything less then 2 gage wire from your battery to the inverter it will not do much to have both sets of terminals in use
George Newburgh:should one battery be connected to all four posts on the inverter (+ - - +)?
fliping720:Glad my videos could help.
Greg M:Cool thanks! We are running this in a Solar panel setup. The panel allowed us to run a guitar amp and lights in a house until about 2AM and we were using it during the day to make Coffee lol!. We just were having issues getting the second terminal hooked up on the back. This should get us back on track thanks a bunch!
fliping720:I have four 4 gage wires (2 negative 2 positive) and two 2 gage wires 1 negative 1 positive. and i have 2 AGM batterys in the back about 200Ah and one AGM in the front 60Ah and my alternator is a 130Amp, and i could easily use another set of 2 gage wire, Its crazy how much amps these things will take!
Greg M:What's the battery wiring config that you use? We have the same inverter but cant figure out how to wire it to the batteries properly. It seems to not hold a charge as long when we have two batteries hooked up.
fliping720:added the inverter link into description
jacob stayton:Nice inverter. What's the model #
